Harvesting the School Gardens
Messalonskee Middle School students on Team Highlands have been harvesting the school gardens. They had an amazing crop of zucchini and greenhouse cucumbers this year! They had over fifteen large zucchinis and well over 40 cucumbers. Students enjoyed freshly sliced cucumbers in science classes and a small group made chocolate chip zucchini muffins. Yum! They are waiting for cherry tomatoes to ripen as well as a small harvest of corn. #WeAreRSU18 #EaglePrideMMS
