Happy Birthday, Maine
Mrs. Mahoney’s social studies classes at Messalonskee Middle School celebrated Maine’s 204 birthday with their buddies from Williams Elementary School! They read Happy Birthday, Maine by Lynn Plourde (a Maine author) and decorated a map of Maine with symbols representing our great state! Then, they hosted “Box of Maine” for a presentation. “Box of Maine” ships Maine made products all across the world! Students were able to sample multiple Maine products such as maple syrup, Moxie, chocolates, and popcorn! #WeAreRSU18
