Holiday Baking Extravaganza
Despite the power outages the week before vacation, Team Acadia at Messalonskee Middle School was able to spend time baking sweet treats for the Winter Wonderland event and for a bake sale. Students made all the sugar cookies that district kindergarten students decorated for Winter Wonderland! They also made holiday bars, peanut butter balls, Oreo balls, and Rice Krispie treats to sell at their bake sale. All proceeds from the bake sale will be donated to the Waterville Area Humane Society per the students’ voting results. Students raised almost $200 with their baking! #WeAreRSU18
