FUTP60 Student Wellness Committee at MMS
Last June, four student ambassadors and a program advisor at MMS were invited to attend the Maine Dairy Council’s Fuel Up to Play 60 Leadership Day at the Blaine House. Governor Mills and retired NFL player, Matt Light, spoke about the importance of choosing wellness and being a leader to help others do the same.
Summer didn’t diminish these students’ resolve to make an impact on wellness at MMS. They have formed a FUTP60 student wellness committee and are planning activities to empower students to improve nutrition and physical activity at MMS.
