Meet Messalonskee Middle School’s Assistant Principal, Frannie Rogers

Meet Messalonskee Middle School’s Assistant Principal, Frannie Rogers.

What are you most looking forward to about this upcoming school year?

I’m excited to meet all of the Messalonskee Middle School students and their families, and to learn and work with the amazing MMS staff! With so many new people  to meet, I’m looking forward to building  new relationships and getting to know everyone. RSU 18 has such an incredible reputation as a district and I’m so pleased and proud  to be here as part of the team!

If you weren’t an administrator, what other profession would you be interested in?

I love to cook for people  and with people, as well as  try new foods and cuisines, so I think I would be a personal chef.

Tell us about your family!

I have three teenage sons that I love spending time with! They are funny, athletic, and adventurous. When I’m not watching them play sports we try to find new adventures outside whenever we can. There’s always lots of food, music, and laughter when we’re together!

What is one thing you’d like to share with the students of your school building?

I’ve been told that I’m relentlessly positive and optimistic! I would like our students to know how important attitude is, that smiles and kindness  are contagious, that their words have power, and I’d like for them to feel the impact of a positive school culture that they have helped to create.

What is something you are thankful for?

I am incredibly thankful for all of the students that I have known and the educators that I have worked with and learned from. All of my experiences with them taught me so much and helped shape the kind of educator that I am. I try to take a lesson from each person that I meet, and I’m grateful for those lessons and relationships!
